Once it was little more than a shabby dockland area of little used quays and makeshift parking lots that had clearly has seen more prosperous times. But soon this tranquil site on the river Vltava’s bend in Prague’s Holešovice will be transformed into a vibrant quarter of flats, offices and shops. Now visibly under construction, this is just one of many areas along the Vltava’s banks set to completely change the appearance, usability and style of life along the river.

Both sides of the Vltava, particularly around the meander between Karlín and Holešovice, are currently hosting large swaths of redevelopment. Lighthouse Group is the dominant player on the Holešovice side. This distinctive city quarter is being continually rejuvenated and a massive investment along the waterfront will make this area even more attractive as a place to work and live.
